About Me

Hi there! I’m Rachel, a high school student and biology enthusiast with a passion for uncovering the nutritional benefits of plants on a scientific scale. I started The Garden Theories to present the biology behind the plants we eat in an accessible way and showcase my favorite recipes. I hope to inspire delicious meals that support wellness and nurture our bodies.

When I’m not experimenting with recipes or diving into plant biology, I love to read, write and spend time with my siblings, Lily and Nate. Whether I’m walking my dog, Luna, or playing squash, I am fueled by my curiosity to learn more about the world around me.

I believe that understanding the science behind what we eat helps us make better choices, and that building health literacy empowers us to evaluate nutrition information and make informed decisions about our well-being. Cooking with intention helps bring joy and health together on one plate.

Welcome to the journey!
